Bulletin Board Ideas:
  • Large letters - "Constructing a Nation" - with tools like a hammer, tape measure, etc.  Smaller letters - Growing Pains:  Solving problems, The National Debt, Taxes, Political Parties, Getting Along, Staying Neutral.
  • "The Kingdom of Heaven is like..."   with bulletin board flowers and things of nature.  Captions could include:   A Pearl, A Net, Leaven, A Wedding Feast, Vineyard Workers, Sheep and Goats.

  • Posterboard for projects
  • Day A1 - Cracker and piece of bread for Bible object lesson.
  • Day A1 - Supplies to make two loaves of bread-in-a-bag.  (One will be with yeast and one will be made without yeast.)
  • Day A1 - Outline map of the U.S. for student use.
  • Day A2 - Object for Bible class "I Spy;" and construction paper
  • Day A4 - Paintbrushes and a very thin, watery, wash of blue tempera paint
  • Project A - Martha Washington Cookout (Can practice table setting and etiquette)
  • Day B1 - Bible concordances
  • Project B - Straws, toothpicks, marshmallows, paper cups, masking tape, small cardboard boxes ( or similar materials).
  • Day C1 - Bible object lesson - $1 bill
  • Project C - Invite guests to hear presentations and then serve treats.  Ice cream is suggested because Dolley Madison was the first to serve it in the White House
